In Reading, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Pennsylvania on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Reading is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Reading follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I ordered 70 dollars worth of take out as I am a first time guest of Paolo's. I have never eaten here but was looking for something good at 9pm as a late dinner for myself and my fiancΓ©. Pickup went well until I got home to find out that part of my order was missing. I called and they asked if I wanted to pick it up or get credit. I opted to pick it up as it was what my fiancΓ© wanted the most and is a hard to find cake. I live 10 minutes from the establishment so the food has already been sitting 10 minutes. Then to go back out and get the food and return would be another 20 that my hot food would be waiting. 30 minutes in all and I expressed this at the restaurant. I said I wanted to complain because their mistake would ensure I only had cold food. I was told that mistakes happen and an apology but that's it? I pay how much money for cold food from your mistake while my fiance gets to eat but I don't? I left to try to salvage the food but couldn't. Still can't tell you if the food was any good. Why go to a restaurant and spend so much money when they don't value you? Yes mistakes happen but why do I have to go hungry because of it?

First time at Paolo's and Tori made the whole experience. Sometimes you can feel forgotten about at a restaurant, but she was one of the most attentive servers I've had; my drink was always full and dirty plates were always cleared, and she was so sweet on top of it!!! She recommended the cauliflower crust pizza since I eat gluten free and it was spectacular. I will be coming back to Paolo's! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was ok, cheeseburger had a weird flavor/smell. Not sure I liked the sweet mayo. Paolo’s Sampler was ok but nothing special, the sauces that came with it were packaged. Marinara tasted from a can, not terrible. Service was lacking & rushed. Took a long time to get attention, then when we did we were forgotten for the entree. No refills offered for drinks. Hostesses seemed attentive but why only 2 servers?

Went on a Friday night for pizza and cheese steak which was fantastic. Saw that there was a full menu and decided to return the next night for dinner. Starting with the Italian wedding soup was a real treat, this could have been the star of the menu if it wasn't for the main dishes we ordered: lobster ravioli, crab cakes, and baked ziti which all were great. Well done il ignore Paolo, we will be visiting again. As a food critic with a masters in the pizza sciences, highly recommend Paolos.

Danielle was our courteous server and made sure our visit went well. The facility is clean and has both indoor and outdoor seating. We had the Italian sausage and flounder entrees and both were plentiful portions and came with hefty sides. The sausage was spicy and the Caesar salad was a meal of its own. Only one bathroom exists for both genders so you may have a wait. Figure $30 per person.
